Former Duke University forward Cooper Flagg's odds of being selected at No. 1 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft have reached -100,000 on multiple sportsbooks Wednesday (June 25) morning, hours before the event, ESPN reports.

Flagg, the national college player of the year and consensus All-American during his lone collegiate season in 2025, was reported to have odds varying from -50,000 on ESPN BET and -10,000 on BetMGM to -100,000 on FanDuel, Hard Rock Bet and Caesars Sportsbook, a price reserved for the biggest favorites in sports betting. San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama had previously climbed to -100,000 pre-draft odds in 2023 before being selected at No. 1 overall.

"The pricing of Flagg to go Number 1 overall is a function of our expectations that he will almost assuredly be the pick," a trader for FanDuel confirmed in an email to ESPN. "While we all expect him to go No. 1, we want to make sure customers who are betting on the draft have the opportunity to bet on the most talked about player."

Flagg has long been projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in Wednesday's draft long before his lone collegiate basketball season as the No. 1 overall consensus prospect for the 2024 national recruiting cycle. The Dallas Mavericks hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, which will air live on ESPN and ABC on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
